The racing registy is for model Thoroughbreds who compete on sanctioned MTRA tracks or produce MTRA stock. Thoroughbreds may be registered with the Express TRR, NAMTOBA, and MRF's ONR- most horses produce foals for one or the other.
The purpose of this registry is to prevent the duplication of names and to provide a record for future reference in the form of Studbooks. Registration is free and available by e-mail or regular mail. I recommend you register ALL your horses that you plan to race in or breed for MTRA racing foals.
Real Mare Registry
**If you are using a real mare as a dam for one of your horses, that information will have to be submitted before the horse is registerable. You need to email me (yes I'm the Real Mare Registrar as well) for
a RMR # , and I will send back your horse with its RMR & TNR#s . Horses out of real mares are
NOT allowed to race until they have received their RMR#.
