Inbreeding to the broodmare sire of a stallion is a technique which can often produce good results, and it could well pay to breed BACH back to Mr. Prospector line mares. Bringing in mares descending from Mr. Prospector's fellow Raise a Native line sires, also looks extremely promising, as does bringing in Raise a Native through Majestic Prince.
Danzig has a strong affinity for stallions from the male lines of Turn-to and his son, Hail to Reason, and Roberto looks to have particularly strong potential here. BACH is free of the Ribot strain and since Danzig has worked well with that line, introducing Ribot, especially through Graustark, His Majesty and Tom Rolfe and his son Hoist the Flag looks worth considering.
The Danzig sire line has enjoyed considerable success with Bold Ruler line mares and particularly Seattle Slew, who looks especially good here, as he also has a strong affinity with Mr. Prospector. Danzig has also worked over Buckpasser, and his strain of Tom Fool will combine well with Blushing Groom, the sire of BACH' granddam, Queena. Danzig line sires have worked with breeding back to the Northern Dancer line through Nijinsky II, and this is another strain which has a very strong affinity for Blushing Groom.
